The Michael Game

Lore

Flippy the Frog (any pronouns) has been trapped by his evil cousin, Michael (pronouns he/him,) in a tank where physics bend to Michael's rules! Michael isn't completely evil, though. He gave Flippy some blocks to play with. Flippy has figured out how to place the blocks and use them to its advantage, however. Can you help Flippy teleport out of their tank to freedom?

Controls

(an external mouse is recommended)

Left and Right Arrow Keys or A and D to move left and right.

Hold down Shift while moving to slow down.

Space to jump

Left/Right Click to place or pick up a block.

When the crosshairs are hovering over air, you can place a block

When the crosshairs are hovering over a block, you can pick that block up.

Custom music!

I can't don't know what to compose for this game, so I invite you to musicallify your experience. Just make sure that the songs you want to use are .wav formatted. You can find a converter somewhere online. Look at the readme in the music folder for more info. (The music feature does not work on mac and I don't know how to fix it.)

Types of Blocks

Spawnpoint

Where Flippy spawns each level. Don't forget to place this in your level!

Breakable

This is the only block you can place and pick up. Use it to your advantage.

Breakable-5

When you pick this one up, it gives you five blocks instead of one.

Unbreakable

You can't break this one. Don't even try.

Tainted Air

You can't place blocks in this type of air.

Goal

This is how you get out of the tank.

Checkpoint

Walk over this to keep from losing progress when dying.

Coin

Collect these for an extra challenge.

Spikes

These are bad and will kill you if you touch them.

Editor Hotkeys

Shift + Up Arrow: Increases level height

Shift + Right Arrow: Increases level width

Shift + Down Arrow: Decreases level height

Shift + Left Arrow: Decreases level width
